Komag, Pasir Gudang (May - July 2006)

This morning, i woke up early. My stomach was crying(so pity him) because he wanted to EAT. I looked at my food corner.

Oh,no. Nothing much to eat. I only left some biscuits and apollo pandan layer cake which need to be reserved for days with class. So, i decided to cook something which might be "heavy" for breakfast. ahaha...

I cooked Indo instant mee. Though it's not delicious, but since my stomach was hungry so it would take anything i fed on him. While eating, suddenly i remembered something. The time during practical where chuan siong ah ko cooked Myojo instant mee for me as breakfast. ahaha....so xing fu des ne.........

Actually, my practical in Komag was such a wonderful one with great friends around me. I'm among those people who get their industrial training last minute. At that time, i already decided to work under an UTM lecturer, Mr. Z then suddenly i got offer from Komag. The intern job offer from Komag wasn't a good one for me as my task there wasn't an engineer instead i worked as buyer/procurement engineer assistant. Anyway, i still accepted this offer as Komag is a big company. However, at the end of the training period, i started to pick up the pace of buyer or procurement engineer job. So, in future, i might step into that profession instead of becoming an engineer. hehe....

From the transportation side, working in Pasir Gudang was tough for me, chuan siong ah ko and ah yong as chuon siong and me only have bike while ah yong has bus no.11. So grateful to have ah ko and ah yong as my mate during practical. They are really dedicated and kind guy. So, girls out there must fast fast come and grab them as ur bf. (Opps...but u r too late, ah ko has gf ady but dun worry, ah yong is still single and available, u can reach ah yong though this no --> 016-8765432, hahaha...)

The journey of practical started as follow. First, ah ko and ah yong went to pasir gudang to find house (while lee jun the lazy girl was goyang kaki in front of computer screen). They were just so efficient and managed to get a two storey house with three rooms. Must salute them for this. Then, time for us to move in. Thanks annie for lending us her car for moving stuffs. After we moved into the house, the house owner only supplied us with 2 fans. So, eventually i took 1 fan for my room and then ah ko and ah yong needed to share 1 room because only 1 fan left. (ah ko and ah yong, i purposely let u2 staying in a room coz i know u guy like brokeback mountain movie...ahaha) so another room became the store room for luggage bag and unused stuff.

Every morning, we woke up and then ate our breakfast. Thanks ah ko coz willing to cook mee for me. Everytime i curi ur mee to eat (hehe...coz i know u wan to keep fit, so i only can help u in this way). Thanks ah yong coz always be the one who opened the main gate and door. After that, we will be on the journey to Komag. In Komag, all of us had different routine work to do, before i go into that, want to introduce another two UTM leng chai who also had their practical in Komag. Heng Cheng Hang (also known as gas tong dai lou, coz everytime when he beh song, he will say throw gas tong to ur hs) and Lee Kok Tah (hmm...no nick for him, but i personally think that he really looks like a salesman,ahaha coz he just looks so smart and elegant).

ah ko, cheng hang, kok tah and me were in same cubicle with a finance dept. lady( Kak azne). While ah yong was in another cubicle. Kak azne was so nice to us. She always treated us food and told some 38 stories of the company to us. Must also thanks her for the baju kurung and the kebaya she gave me for FREE. Thanks ya. I look nice in the kebaya she gave me.

Our cubicle was always filled with laughter. Every morning, cheng hang, kok tah and ah ko will go into production line while i'm be the one sitting in front of computer and playing with yellow pages and green book. Ah ko played with rank B n rank C (the most geng rank b n c), on the other hand, cheng hang and kok tah played with PPH. [the day before we left, i 4got which manager told us that we r the most active trainee so far...haha]

then, still remember one time when ah ko 'snake' around, he was caught by boss. so in d end, more rank b n rank c work 4 him. then another funny story as follow. one day, utm lecturer called heng cheng hang regarding of his visit to komag
lect: "heng kah? "
c.hang : "heng apa?"
lect: "reading his ic no"
c.hang murmured in heart : 'walau, who know my ic no, which dai lou in permas jaya??'
for outsider, u may not get the joke.

Thanks ah ko,cheng hang n kok tah coz when i had problem or beh song with certain job, they will be the one who listen to my murmur. Then, i always terbalik ah ko's mouse when i'm beh song. Thanks to yau siang, Ex-komag IT stuffs, nw ady jump to sg to work, coz when we got any probs in IT stuffs,he will help us to solve, then he is the one who teach me to use web messenger to online in komag,hehe (shii....tell u all, yau siang looks a bit like malaysian idol -- Daniel lee, the 1st day i saw him, i tot i was working with Daniel...ahaha).

Then, nite life during practical was a bit bored. Coz my house there dun hav phone line/streamyx, tv, washing machine and all the modern tools which can take boredom away. Nevertheless, ah ko and ah yong always added in spice to my life there. At the beginning, ah yong was the only one who brought his computer over there. Every nite, i'll lepak at their room and c their Dota skill. I have learnt one very useful word 'hut gei ni si'...hehe. Other than tat, ah ko will share his experience in financial and also tell the story of 8K. I also learnt one word from ah yong ' darimu'.

There were many many more fun thgs during tat time but i think i cn't share it all here coz it will be busuk dan panjang. wan to take this opportunity to thank all those who has helped me alot during tat time. 1st n foremost, must be ah ko and ah yong, who sacrifice themselves to be my hsmates (lately, zyn ming told me tat ah yong miss me...ahaha....). next, will be cheng hang and kok tah. (kok tah,thanks 4 the DELL LCD u helped me to buy, it serves me well nw). also, thanks jihan, a mmu student who also practical in komag later, for fetching us bek to tmn u during weekend coz her hs is at tmn u. thanks yi kang, my next next next..... door neighbour who lent me his streamyx to use when i was bek in tmn u. last but not least, all those who hav given support to me during tat time. Thanks


p/s: this post has very rojak punya english coz i'm lazy to write in proper english...then the content is in a mess coz i just type wat that appear in my mind.....harap maklum :)
